Learn about Bali’s culture and see some of its temple on this night tour to Uluwatu.
The tour begins in Pura Luhur Uluwatu, which serves as the home of a Balinese sea temple located on the edge of a cliff. Built to honour Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa, the temple is highly regarded as one of the six holiest worship places in all of Bali.
The Kecak dance performance will shortly follow. The performance is a depiction of the battle of Ramayana, which is why it is also known as the Ramayana Monkey Chant. Traditionally, it is done by around 50 men who chants ‘cak’ in a percussive manner. They move their hands and arms to the rhythm of their chants as they move around fire.
Dinner will soon follow at the white shores of Jimbaran Bay, a secluded area in Indonesia.
