Kek Lok Si Temple
From your hotel, you will head to your first stop, Kek Lok Si Temple, which is also known as the temple of "Ten Thousand Buddhas'. Two not-to-be missed attractions are the 30-metre tall bronze statue of the Goddess of Mercy (Kuan Yin) and the unique and sacred ‘Pond of Longevity’ which is home to hundreds of tortoises.
Penang Hill / Bukit Bendera
Ascend the Penang Hill or Bukit Bendera via the funicular train up to 800 metres above sea level to escape the heat and enjoy the magnificent panoramic views of Georgetown and part of the mainland.
