This hotel has a great japanese design and is conveniently located near transportation. It is clean, modern, and welcoming. We stayed for two nights. The hotel features good wifi and tv. In the morning, we enjoy the complimentary pastry and coffee. If youre okay with that, it only takes about 10 stops to get to shinjuku.

This is a great little place in a quiet section of town that is nearby a couple train stations and close to fun activities in Ueno and Asakusa. The space is small and the bed was a little smaller than we normally like, but it was very quiet and clean and had everything we needed for a 2-night stay. The women working the front desk was very kind and helpful as well, and let us store our luggage for a while before our flight on our last day there.

My first visit to Japan and I am delighted to have discovered The Barn/The Hideout. I was here for an extended stay (9 nights) and each evening I returned I felt at home. Very clean and comfortable room, excellent bathroom facilities, storage under bed, mini-fridge and plenty of clothing hanging space. Free Netflix also a plus. Super accessible/walkable to trains. The “icing on the cake” was Aimy and Linn (owner). Sincerely personable; always interested in how they could be of help; and a delight each morning as they greeted me with a hot cup of coffee. I chose this property because of the many 5-star ratings, and my expectations were exceeded. If you are considering this property, you will not be disappointed!

We had a lovely stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived very early in the morning and they offered us to check-in early so we could rest. The location is close to train station so it’s easy to travel around. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. It was also a plus they had Netflix.

We had the pleasure of staying 4 nights at this lovely small hotel. A short walk to the subway and yamanote line stations and all that ueno has to offer. Thank you to staff for your hospitality and kindness. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Affordable hotel with design. Newly constructed this year, it boasts a modern and clean design that is both convenient and convenient. The location is conveniently close to the jr Yamanote line, providing easy access to Shibuya, Shinjyuku, Shinagawa, and Tokyo station. Additionally, there is onsite mr. Yamanot line for transit to nearby destinations such as shibuyashi, shinjiuke, or shonagura. There is also taikan, an expansive parkthemed museum district nearby. Furthermore, you can find several local restaurants nearby where you may dine!.

This may be the ideal location if you are considering visiting tokyo for the first time. This hotel has a warm and inviting vibe, is quite quiet but still close to the bustling nightlife of ueno. The rooms are spacious enough to accommodate two large suitcases, and even looks new compared to what was built just yesterday. Both the owners and the hosts are charming people. Go there! You wont regret it.

The hotel is beautifully designed, cozy, and welldesigned! The owners are incredibly kind and sweet, providing excellent hospitality. Jr station and metro are easily accessible within a short distance of this place. Situated in uenos residential neighborhood. The bed is quite comfy, the toilet and room are immaculate. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the barn tokyo. Strongly advised!.

Due to The high rating, we chose the barn, and we were not in any way let down. Everything was in excellent shape, including the room itself. A large shower and a Panasonic bidet toilet were included in the washroom. It was essentially he double bed. Below one of the two nightstands was an undersized bar fridge. By north american standards, the space was quite large, but by tokyo standards it was very spacious. The staff was courteous and helpful, as well as their excellent command of english. Although the property is hidden down merely down on stray street, it is not difficult to find. There was peace and quiet. Uguisudani station is only ten minutes walk away, while ueno station takes fewer steps. Numerous dining options are available in this area, along with incredibly useful guidebooks for the neighborhood. We left feeling very at ease and well taken care of.

The location of the barn in tokyo is very good, its quiet and comfortable. It is not far from the jr station. The owner is friendly and takes care of us. Please think about booking this place when you are in Tokyo.

I had a wonderful time during my stay here! Excellent location and friendliness. The rooms are modest but larger than what is typically offered in tokyo, and all requirements were met. I would definitely stay again.

The location is excellent, with free bread, coffee, and tea available, keeping the room clean and cozy. Its a hotel that offers hospitality from bandb. I met the owner and was pleased to see their high occupancy rate. The room costs reasonable as well. Will definitely be back!.

This week my wife and i spent three nights here. This location is fantastic! Rin and may are incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. They provide everyone with a welcome booklet with lots of information about nearby restaurants, places to see, directions to key locations, etc. Even free bananas are provided every day! The place is brand new and immaculate! Excellent location. Very close to the metro subway line and the jr lines (6 minutes walk away). Its also very close by tastier 7-11, which is 1-2 minutes stroll away, greatly helped. Many thanks for the wonderful stay and experience, rindh and maid!.

I highly recommend this place to stay in east of tokyo. This is the best place for a stay at eastoftokyon. Iriya station is conveniently located near the metro and jr lines. The room was very warm and the bed was comfortable like i had stayed in shinny hotels. All furniture is great. It creates ambiance. Staff are very kind.

The room was fantastic! The hotel is conveniently located in a charming, peaceful alleyway near public transportation, museums, and ueno park. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming, offering helpful local advice. Every morning, coffee and snacks are offered in the lobby. I would definitely stay there again!.
