We arrived later than expected, but the gentleman at the desk still allowed us to use the onsen. Which was much needed after travel delays. The rooms are much smaller than western rooms but have everything you need, and they include items travelers often forget. I would stay here again for sure.

Absolutely loved my stay here. Located in a cute neighborhood, and felt like a part of it by the time I finished. No laundry services, but a good coin op one next door. No food services, but a grocery store right next to it. Not a lot of rooms, so it stays quiet and calm, and still has an open air bath accommodations (empty every time I used it!). Amazingly affordable for what you get, so make this your hotel too! I even booked it again, and already regret changing to the hotel I booked after this one.

Stayed here for three nights during a solo trip during winter. The rooms are small as reviews suggest, but exactly as expected and in-line for the location and price in Tokyo. Front desk staff was great, rooms and bathrooms extremely clean with bidet toilets, and AC was good. I really enjoyed the open-air rotenburo (hot spring bath) at the top of the hotel! Timing for male and females rotate, and as a result, you need to go to the front desk to change your room card for the 11th floor card, but it's easy and worth it. Also a pity that impressive views of the SkyTree are blocked by the high walls, but I can understand that for privacy reasons. Only met one other person the 3 times I went to the hot bath after a long day out. Otherwise, walkable from Metro stations (about 10-15min if you don't mind walking, but perhaps not the best for people who can't walk as much), good value, right beside a small supermarket, and great views of the Tokyo SkyTree from the main road. Nearest tourist areas are Ueno and Asakusa. Front desk also helped hold my Amazon packages I delivered to the hotel, and also allows baggage storage for pre-check-in / post-check-out. Highly recommended!

The metro is within walking distance and very close to ueno station where most transportation from airports stop. Unfortunately, i didnt get a chance to experience the openair bath as i missed the time, so i cant comment on that. Comfortable stay, comfortable for a solo stay but could be a bit cramped for a couple.

I would return! Despite the small rooms, the welcoming reception and welcoming entrance were lovely. The hotel is contemporary and spotless, and you can appreciate the thoughtful attention to detail, which is greatly appreciated. Although i didnt get the chance to use the outdoor bath, it is a nice option. The staff is courteous and competent. The shower and beds are cozy. The cost is quite reasonable.

I adored it and would return. Reviews must be remarked. Despite the rooms modest size, everything was spotless, in a perfect location, and furnished. Everything was included, including a kettle, water, fridge, usb ports, slippers, coffee or tea, plugs, a safe, a hairdryer, etc. This was a topnotch hotel for the price. They operate with a few employees. At midnight in the rain, the hot bath on the rooftop was a particular highlight. Shame there arent any views from the rooftop, but i appreciate that for privacy. Would return if i could. Its spotless, cozy, and reasonably priced for what you get. Its a short stroll in the humid heat to the closest jr station, which is 1 km distant. There are many different dining options in the area.

Asakusa is a clean, safe, partly residential area that is not far from the city center. 15 minutes walk to the big temple. 10 minutes walk to various metro stations where most restaurants are. Onsen on the roof with views of the sky tower. Comfortable and good amenities. A clean modern hotel.
