This accommodation was perfect. While there were several reviews mentioning the distance from the station, it wasn’t an issue for me. I even walked to Azabudai Hills 😄. The hotel was very clean, and I had no concerns about noise or odors. The elevator was a bit small though. I also really enjoyed the tea service 💚. The gentleman with glasses was especially kind, which truly impressed me. I even ran into him on a nearby street, and he greeted me so warmly that I was very surprised! If you’re planning a trip to Tokyo, I highly recommend this place!

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel 1899. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the atmosphere was serene and quiet, which made our experience incredibly relaxing. The rooms were not only cozy but also beautifully designed, providing a perfect retreat after a long day of exploring. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. Their hospitality made a big difference in our overall experience. As for the location, it was perfect for us, right in the middle of all the places we wanted to visit, which made getting around so convenient. Overall, Hotel 1899 lives up to its high ratings and exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend staying here.

Clean and comfortable hotel. Reception were friendly and helpful. The room was a decent size for Tokyo (if you’re from the UK, it’s slightly smaller than a Premier Inn room). The bed has a firm mattress which I found really comfortable. You have tea making facilities, a fridge and a good selection of toiletries. You also get pyjamas and slippers to use. The room was spotless and clean. The breakfast was a mixture of European and Asian food. The selection wasn’t massive but there is enough to choose from and all of it is well made and presented. The staff who work in the restaurant are very friendly too. The locations is good. There are a couple of convenience stores within 2 mins walk and Simbashi Station is around 10 mins walk and gives you access to lots of train lines to explore Tokyo.
