We selected this hotel since it is a Seibu Prince property; could have also selected the neighboring Sakura or Shin hotels but chose this one. Hotel garden (share with the other two) at night was very nice to walk, great light features and had two blooming cherry blossom trees - ahead of the actual season. Location also selected as the Shinagawa train stations and Takanawadai subway station were close. Staff very nice and accommodating. Room selected was spacious compared to other Japan hotel rooms we've stayed at. An added plus was the Lounge Komyo; excellent for light dining. Will book again when we return to Tokyo.

Nice being very close to the Shimbuya station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I used the Black Cat service to transport my bag from one location to the Grand Price a few days earlier, and when I checked in, they informed me they had my bag and it would be in my room when I went upstairs. The area around the hotel was mostly businesses it seemed, so it was not the best place to walk out of the hotel to go sightseeing, but with the station about a 4-minute walk away, the rest of Tokyo is easily accessed.

The hotel is a little old and getting renovated but we still had a wonderful stay. Staff are very helpful and friendly. And yes of course, the breakfast buffet (both japanese and american) was very good. Also the restaurant inside the hotel (tempura) was very good! I also like about the hotel is there is a 711 inside. Very convenient!!! Book this hotel for family vacation or business trip. You will feel relaxed every morning you wake up.

Loved my stay here! The hotel was very nice had many restaurants in the building there are a total of three hotels on the compound the grand prince hotel, shin grand prince hotel, and Sakura hotel I believe. You have access to all the restaurants in the three buildings. The garden was AMAZING the koi fish in the pond and the flowing stream water was a nice touch. I would highly recommend this hotel. I guess the room I got gave me access to the lounge where there was complimentary breakfast, separated from the other breakfast hall, you don’t get access to both though. If you have one of the more expensive rooms you only get access to the lounge breakfast there are also beverages available free of charge. Feels exactly like an airport lounge.

Hotel has amazing garden and less than 10 minutes walk from Shinagawa station. Every Reception desk personal were very sweet and helpful. There is a convenient store for quick snacks, too. We would stay there again.

I stayed for three nights at the grand prince hotel takanawa for a family vacation, and everything (room, breakfast, staff, transportation, etc) was outstanding except the old gentleman at the reception of the breakfast restaurant (zakuro) in shin takanawa. He was very controlling when he checked our room keys as we entered the restaurant, and did not even look at us when we exited the restaurant. However, he was very friendly with western customers who entered the restaurant right after us (we are from korea). We first thought we were being too sensitive and he was too busy, but it happened again the very next morning. Although food was a bit better in shin takanawa, but I would use the restaurant in takanawa if I stay there again.

２泊しましたが、朝食付きでした、会場を3か所選べて、お料理も種類が多くおいしかったです。飛行機を利用したので羽田から行きやすくて、地下鉄も高輪台駅から使えて浅草や、銀座も行きやすく１本乗り換えて、六本木や、新宿も行きやすかったです。なりよりも静かでホテルの中にコンビニもあり、ゆっくりホテルライフできました。また利用させていただきたいと思いますす。
