Room was compact but comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast, a pared down but delicious selection of both Japanese and Western choices. Would stay here again, although next time we would opt for the large room which unfortunately was not available for our dates.

Das DDD Hotel liegt zu Fuß 15 Minuten von Akihabara entfernt, etwa 20 Minuten von Asakusa und etwa 5 Minuten von Asakusabashi, allesamt Viertel die mit zu den interessantesten in Tokyo gehören. Man hat mehrere Metrolinien die hier kreuzen, daher ist die Anbindung sowohl an den Flughafen Narita und Haneda ausgezeichnet. Das Zimmer ist sehr schlicht eingerichtet, einen Fernseher haben wir nicht gehabt, dafür zwei riesige Einzelbetten. Das Badezimmer ist über ein kleines Podest erreichbar, ist komplett gekachelt was im Herbst / Winter an den Füßen aufgrund der Temperaturen etwas unangenehm werden kann und bietet zudem keine Möglichkeit seine Handtücher aufzuhängen. In der Nähe des Hotels haben wir mehrere Supermärkte und Restaurants gehabt, also verhungert man hier nicht. Das Zimmer bietet einen kleinen Kühlschrank, einen Wasserkocher und wider Erwarten sogar einen Kleiderschrank. Check-In und -Out läuft über Automaten, aber es gibt auch freundliches Personal welches assistiert. Ich würde hier definitiv nochmal ein Zimmer buchen.

The DDD hotel was really cool, we loved our stay. A highlight was the coffee shop on the second floor, which turns into an amazing lounge at night. The drinks and music were fantastic, and the espresso in the morning was extremely well made. The rooms were very comfortable and well designed. We would go back in a heartbeat.

DDD is such a cool hotel in a less touristy, more local part of Tokyo that was still convenient to get to many of the top tourist attractions. The highlight for us was the coffee shop / bar on the second floor, which consistently made some of the best espresso we've ever had in the morning, and then transitioned to make amazing cocktails in the evening. This is now our go-to hotel for whenever we're back in Tokyo.

落ち着いた雰囲気の内装で、非常にリラックスできた。夜にはバーが開いており、宿泊者はチャージ無料、支払い金額から300円値引きされるサービスもあり、利用しようかなという気持ちになる。周辺にはおしゃれなカフェも多く、散歩にもちょうど良い。定期的に利用したい。
