위치가 사실 조금 애매하긴 합니다. 대신 그만큼 저렴하니까 장기간 투숙할때는 고려해볼만 합니다. 위치는 갓파바시에서 매우 가깝고 아사쿠사 역 기준 도보 5-10분 정도, 우에노는 15-20분 정도 느낌이네요. 전 근처 지리가 익숙해서 어느쪽이든 갈만했는데 처음 오는 분들이면 생각보다 먼 거리일 수 있어요. 카미나리몬과 나카미세도리, 센소지까진 충분히 걸어서 갈만합니다.

Fantastic place to stay. Out of the hussle and bussle. Staff were very helpful and kind. The walls were a little thin and the bed/pilllows were a little hard. But other wise perfect!

As long as you’re prepared for a compact space (pretty common in Tokyo tbf) then this hostel cannot be faulted, for the price it’s amazing. It’s a bit of a walk from Asakusa metro but this means a quieter area, especially at night, whilst still within 10 mins walk of the river, Senso-ji, Hoppy Dori and also Ueno walkable in the opposite direction. Would stay again, especially if on my own.

This has got to be one of the best places to stay I. North Tokyo. With JR and Gino’s lines in walking distance, amazing food options, and lots of shrines/sightseeing options. The staff was insanely accommodating and supportive. The vibe of the hostel was very comfortable too, many nights we found ourselves relaxing in the lobby with the staff or other guests comfortably. All core necessities are in walking distance and staff is extremely knowledgeable on the area. Note to management: please add few more coat hooks if possible. Thank you for a hospitable stay!

The hotel rooms are on the small side, so if you are carrying large luggage, be prepared for limited space. The staff are very kind and provide free room service if you stay for four days, but you have to pay extra.

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The room is spacious enough for two people and has basic amenities. Access to the train is easy, there are several stations around the hotel. Its not far from the Senso ji temple. Its a good experience staying at this hotel.

The best hostel we stayed in japan! My girlfriend and i loved it here! Ai, harauka, hokuto, and megumi were very helpful and friendly. They helped me book our night bus and ferry on japanese website which saved us so much money! Our entire stay was amazing and so close to euno park and kaminarimon shrine! Also, everyone celebrates the kappa being, you can see it in the town in shops and signs! Love from australia!.

I was hoping to use my travel points for my trip to japan, and while looking for a cheap but comfortable place to stay, i came across hostel asakusa kappabashi. The hostel is located between ueno station and the heart of asakusa, a short walk from ueno station, and the ginza line drops you off a short distance from the location. There are some smaller restaurants nearby, and if youre looking for a bargain, there are several convenience stores a short walk away. The room was comfortable, despite its modest size. The rooms are small, but if you are a solo traveler or are traveling light, they arent too bad. The hostel is small, but it invites a warm atmosphere, which is evident when you enter the lobby. The staff is very friendly, and although some of them dont speak english, they make an effort to assist you and provide you with what you need. The first floor has a small desk and chair, a small kitchen, a washing machine, and even a projector to watch something on the wall. I was here for two separate trips, and i was always on the second floor. The hostel itself is small, but it invites a warm atmosphere, which is noticeable when you enter the lobby. Thank you to hokuto for talking to me about the area and practicing english, to ai for helping me find a place to buy some essentials, and to haruka for helping me arrange some luggage transfers. Looking forward to returning here again!.

Its a pleasant hostel. You can reserve a private room with your own bathroom. However, it is still pricey for what you get. However, for tokyo, its a decent standard. Ginza subway is within a 10minute walk away. Uenl station is a 15minute walk away. We booked and paid about $400, but they wanted to charge us for our bags for two hours. So thats crazy and annoying. We traveled for more than 8 months. Nobody charged us to store our luggage. Thats not really good service in our room, the ac is not working properly. Everything is very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean.
