Great location, Paul knows very well how to receive his guests. Everything is very clean and pleasant. people from all over the world can stay at this hostel that has a fair price and comfortable beds and impeccable bedding. Breakfast included, in the heart of the historic center of Genova.

I strongly recommend this place. Although we didn't stay in this hostel, we did take the pyros walking tour that they arrange each day when they have enough people. It was wonderful. Pyros is a wonderful guide. He showed us parts of the city we hadn't seen before and his explanations were excellent and entertaining. The trips are actually more than 5 hours long, and for those who are interested, lunch might be a stop.

The tour is not completely free, you have to pay 1 euro in advance. But it's definitely worth it. Pyros is nice and tells so many things about the city. The tour is long, be prepared for the duration. I was happy to attend.

I have been here for a while and have shared a room with friends, which is fine. in the hallway there are 3 bathrooms and 1 washbasin room. The condition of the room is not clean and contains dust and cats under the bed. The funny part is that some of the underwear was left to dry out for days. There is wellwritten information that the food that is found without a name and room number will be discarded whereas nothing is given about the clothes in the kitchen. The location is ideal, I would suggest it. Breakfast is offered, you just have to prepare it and wash your dishes. Many people don't know that the wooden tray next to the sink is a cutting board and not a place to dry the cleaned stuff. What a curious fact. Not all of the employees there can converse in Italian. Is it itit?.

Don't stay here. I'm very impressed. And then, I saw the tour on tripAdvisor and went there just for the tour. And the service was also very nice. After that, the tour took 4 hours to find all the places in the city.

When I stayed for 4 days there, what can I say if it was great. The staff greeted me with happiness and was eager to answer. The dorm is as clean as the bathroom. Thanks once more

Got lots of insect bites. 140 spots in total on all over the body. The room had no air conditioning, so the residents kept the window open overnight, which might have invited lots of insects (pappataci). Nightmare-type of experience. Better to spend more money to stay in an air-conditioned (window-closed) room.
