I stayed at this beautiful hotel once more. My sister and her staff, Luka matter, and Pablo, who offered us coffee every morning, were very friendly. The lovely Sabina and her assistant clean the rooms every day. We stayed there for a week, and we now feel like close friends. The food at the restaurant downstairs is excellent. It is such a wonderful place to stay. Can't wait to come back. Christine Roberts.

They go above and beyond to make our stay feel comfortable, they are all aware that my sister is ill. Nicola, Matter, Luca Sabine, and the rest of the employees are outstanding.

I have been staying at the National Hotel for 7 years and we adore it. The owner, his employees, and housekeepers are all very nice. My sister became ill 2 years ago, and they really take care of us. We normally stay for 5 days in September but despite the flight changes, we stayed for 7 days and it was awesome. Can't wait to go back in September 2021. This hotel is in a fantastic location, although there is still some construction work going on with the beautiful Mare being refurbished. Although the hotel is simple and rustic in appearance, the service is courteous and wonderful. One minute from stunning restaurants and a short hike uphill to the Castle and Lighthouse. Great for yacht watching and people spotting.

I cannot express how much I value this establishment. Besides that, the very kind and pleasant Pablo and the fantastic nicholas did everything to accommodate us. They handled all of our parking problems in Portofino. Plus, the location is good, due to the proximity to the water.
