The location of Villa Penelope is it's best feature. A few meters from restaurants like Ultima, it is just off eat street. There were 5 of us who were staying, and there was plenty of space. There is plenty of space to lounge around and relax in comfort on your return if you intend to be out and about most of the time. I'm sure if small children were staying there because you would be constantly watching them by the pool. The indoor loungedining area was spacious, large, and tastefully decorated. We didn't plan to cook in the open kitchen, however, we'd just use it for drinks and snacks, as there are far too many great eateries close close to you to cook. We found the coffee library nearby to be ideal for breakfast. The bathroom was so outdated and a mishmash. You could see where bits had been removed from the shower area, and the tiles did not fill them in. Shower soap is provided in the basin, but not in the shower. A good freshen up and finding a way to lighten things up would do it all. Despite villa Penelope being in the center of the chaos, we had no problem with noise. Overall, for the price and location, this is a fantastic choice if you're staying with friends or adult family.

We would unquestionably return and highly suggest Villa Penelope. Great villa in the heart of seminar. Several fantastic eateries are close by. There was plenty of space for our six adult children and our six children when we remained here. Even after we came in after a.m., the staff set up a driver to go pick us up from the airport. Every morning, two lovely ladies came in and made us breakfast. More employees discreetly cleaned the villa every day so that we could fit into our schedule. Although it is a great size and shallow depth, the pool is not the ideal size for small children. Yet it is still extremely pleasant and relaxing. In each room, there is aircorn, which helps keep it cozy and cool. And if you want to unwind, there is a lovely little lounge area off the main kitchen.

The location near Japan kay aya is the only positive aspect of villa I 3 but the rest didn't live up to our expectations in Bali. Pool is not clean and rooms around it are not close to the house. No indoor bathroom. Dirty table in the kitchen. Staff are hospitable but not actively involved. Interior style not Balinese. Villa 3 looks a bit old and needs to be renovated and the bathrooms need to be renovated. If you want Balinese style, go away.

What a lovely villa, I stayed here with my entire family and it was the perfect size. So nice and spacious. We were greeted upon arrival by the lovely staff, and for the entire two-week stay they came and cleaned our room every day. However, they weren't just our cleaners, they were just beautiful, helpful, and genuine people. The pool was excellent, a good size, and always clean! The irons in all the rooms kept the rooms so nice and cold. The only thing that wasn't a big deal was that the shower in the third room needed the shower plug removed otherwise, water didn't seem to go down and eventually, the shower overflows. We left the plug out and didn't have any issues. It is in a great location, in a laneway just off the main street of seminar, where there are some fantastic restaurants! I highly recommend Villa Penelope, and I will return soon.
