I and my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kalyana. The staff were wonderful, warm and welcoming. Responsive to questions / pre-bookings prior to our arrival from the US. We stayed in one of the wooden bedroom private pool villas. It was absolutely gorgeous - serene, and private. I was worried about mosquitos as it’s completely surrounded by rice fields. We were fine - no bites! Staff told us to let them know if we experienced any problems as they do spray - our bed had a mosquito net. It was lovely to view the early morning sun and hear birds and roosters crowing in the distance. It was a bit of a trek to the front of the property/reception area - we were in Villa 410. I recommend flats or comfortable walking shoes/sneakers as the path is a bit rocky. My one true complaint though was the towels - they were clean as everything else was but were very OLD several had one or two holes - I couldn’t understand the correlation as everything else was fine. I have actually never stayed at any property and seen towels like that still in use for guests! Replacements are desperately needed. Our daily incl. breakfast was very good with variety and a number of choices. My birthday dinner setup was beautiful and the meal delicious and so was the floating breakfast and birthday serenade and cake that morning. Thank you to staff for making it so special! Greatly appreciated. It was a lovely stay and overall a memorable experience.

Hotel yang sangat bagus, dengan fasilitas luar ruangan yang bagus. Kamar besar dengan fasilitas bagus, sayangnya tidak ada mini bar (seperti yang diharapkan di hotel bintang 4). Kamar mandinya sangat berbau seperti pembersih. Kami memesan makan malam. Pilihan menunya agak membosankan. Suatu kali mereka lupa menyiapkan makan malam dan kami baru menerima makanan setelah menunggu setengah jam dan kemudian 15 menit. Sarapan datang setengah jam lebih lambat dari yang direncanakan pada suatu pagi. Secara umum tidak masalah, tapi sayang sekali harus menunggu supir taksi karena harus menunggu. Kolam renang dan koktailnya enak. Secara keseluruhan hotel bagus, tapi menurut kami bukan bintang 4.

Overall, it is a worthwhile place to consider when visiting ubud. Nice room with a private pool. The hotel is nice, a place to consider, but a bit away from the town which was very enjoyable to visit.

The property boasts an exceptional experience, and we would definitely return! However, there is room for improvement in the breakfast offerings, as the vegetarian options are quite limited. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely consider returning!.

Quiet location near some good restaurants and a day club. Ubud is easily accessible by short taxi / scooter ride. Overall, everything was clean and well maintained. Slow wifi in the private villas.

The resort is absolutely stunning, with impeccably clean and spacious rooms. Our room, which included a private pool, was incredibly spacious and beautifully designed. We were also treated to a complimentary breakfast package, although the food was disappointing. Nevertheless, the beverages were consistently outstanding. The staff were exceptional, always willing to assist and incredibly friendly, adding to our overall positive experience. We are immensely grateful for our stay.
