I had a good experience here. The service provided by the club intercontinental staff was fantastic. They have a nice view from the room. They have friendly personnel at the cafe aqua and at the concierge team. They can also meet us when we want to go out. Definitely worth a visit.

I was initially a little hesitant that the area was getting up there given that this was listed as a temples old hotel on a trip without a listed renovation. I wouldn't think twice about staying here once more considering the expense. Although it was fine when I came, I would not doubt I would stay here again, but given the price, I wonder if a newer property like the Marriott just down the street or many other properties nearby could be more reliable. It was in excellent condition, but given the hotel's overall lobby, restaurant, and accommodation, which were all well maintained. It seemed like they had resolved it for only one side, so it was clear that any room was up to date as a floor club room with an upgrade after it had been renovated over the past few years, the bathroom was spacious, the furniture was adequate, and the room didn't feel particularly dated like you would occasionally discover for this hotel or older period. Good carpeting. I'm okay dragging it down under a bedside table, but I didn't notice any sign here. Not sure if the other floors lack some sort of outlet next to both sides of the bed, which is just an odd but not entirely desirable mild musty smell when we first opened the room. It wasn't something youd notice later, but the mattress had clearly seen better days. Although more soft than many in China, its

Even though the hotel appears to be old, it is still very impressive. There are comfortable and tranquil rooms, many of which have lovely views, a gorgeous setting, and a convenient location.

Very beautiful lobby. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. However, there is still something to be done. The room is very cold, there is no heat, and the shower handle is difficult to use. I requested a humidifier that was delivered to my room. But the maid didn't refill the water every day, so I was unable to do it again. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, but few were suitable for those who wanted salt and sugar-free options. It was an aging dowager.
