This was an excellent choice for my first time in a shared accommodation setting as a solo female traveler. Everything was clean and the staff was always friendly. The only thing that could be improved on is the breakfast bar. The value, options, and variety were good, but there was no protein options at all. Something simple like scrambled eggs would be a great addition.

YHA Sydney was a great place to stay. We didn’t really have any expectations but were pleasantly surprised to find we had a full view of the Sydney Opera House from our room window! The rooftop is spectacular with views of the Harbour Bridge, Opera House and Sydney’s center. The breakfast was good. The staff helped in every area. The room itself was clean and comfortable. We definitely recommend this hotel John and Candace

Very friendly staff. Clean room (we had a room with an ensuite). A lot of stairs from Circular Quay to get here, but worth it for the rooftop view. Would very happily stay again.

Quiet and spacious room with own bathroom. Great shared spaces and facilities. Beautiful rooftop area with an amazing view. Convenient to The Rocks and only a few minutes walk to Circular Quay. Interesting archeological and historical photo displays within the building. Note that there are tea and coffee facilities in the room but no fridge, however there is access to a large shared kitchen (including fridge space).

Very interesting stay. I had no idea that it was an architectural site. Very close to dining, and short walk to quay. I shared room and it was very clean. There are lockers to use. Staff was very pleasant and common areas were spotless.

Very very nice hostil. For more than youths. Had very nice room with private bath. Although we didn’t utilize, the cooking facilities appeared very nice. The view from the large 3 rd floor deck was amazing
