午前到着でしたが、アーリーチェックインさせてくださり、荷物を置いてからロックス～サーキュラーキー近辺の散策に出ることができました。一等地にありとても便利で、ハーバーブリッジ、アーガイルカット、オペラハウス等も徒歩数分圏内です。ほぼ庭。シャワー・トイレ共用のシングルタイプにステイしました。施設はアンティークで歴史を感じさせる「パブの上のホテル」です。部屋には百合の花が生けてあり心遣いを感じさせます。エアコンはなくシーリングファンのみです。暑がりな方なのですが、何の問題もありませんでした（日本の夏よりも過ごしやすい気候でした）。共用シャワー（固定式）は先客の後で使ったので、使用後のタオル等が残っていて少し気になりました。（ランドリーボックスor回収箱等があればよいのかもしれません）夜はオペラハウスでのオペラ鑑賞に出ました。出入り口(※George st側はバーの入り口で、ホテルはGlobe st＆Nurses walk側）は夜間施錠されますが、自室の鍵が玄関兼用となっていますので自由です。部屋に戻ると、チョコレートが差し入れされており、心遣いに嬉しくなりました。朝食はシリアル、フルーツ、パンなどと飲み物が準備されており、美味しく頂きました。チェックアウトの際、夕方まで荷物を預かってくださいとお願いしたところ、快く引き受けてくださいました（引替タグをつけて預かってくださり、安心です）。ホテルの皆さんがとてもフレンドリーで、気持ちよいステイとなりました。ありがとうございました♪

The most outstanding thing about the Russell Hotel is the location. The Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge and Circular Quay with the transport links (train, tram and ferry) are all within walking distance. The Hop-On-Hop-Off tour bus (red line) starts literally over the road and the 'Rocks' weekend market (fabulous) was a few minutes walk away. The only thing I would have liked to see was a room safe.
