The oaks was great value for money, bed was comfy and aircon was great, I slept very well. The road wasn’t too noisy, and having the pub next door as well as fast food and service station was very convenient. All of the staff were lovely and were very helpful. I would definitely stay again.

In January 2021, we stayed at the motel. The rooms were tidy and spacious, but since it is located directly on the highway, it is a little noisy at night. The beach and nature reserve are both close by, so it was unfortunate to have a charge on our credit card for an item that was not consumed by us at the minibar. I was ignored when I asked for the charge to be reversed. If you do stay here, I recommend taking a picture of everything in the kitchen and minibar when you check in and when you leave.

We spent the night in this place while traveling from Queensland with our family of 6. We had an adjacent room for about 225 dollars which I found to be affordable. The rooms were presented beautifully and were pleasantly quiet. The bistro and bottle shop are close by. Not sure but they could be quite busy on Friday or Saturday night.

The location was very convenient and close to the hotel. And then, this place is very quiet. After that, the bed was very comfortable, and that was a plus. Besides that, it is close to the McDonald's and McDonald's.

A couple of days escape to the south coast with family. It is great to get a full apartment on short notice. The kitchen was useful but not fully supplied with kitchen knives and other utensils, but functional for the two days. The pity is it is right on the Princes Highway for traffic noise is an issue. But overall, functional, warm and roomy. Good value at the price.

great simple stop for travellers. value for money was good, service was good besides the cranky room cleaner in the morning. stick to the basic pub food (steaks, pizza, schnitzel) the rest is a little average.
