I have some concerns, so I should keep my review in chronological order. Three emails were sent to us, asking us to pay in cash in order to get a discount before we even got there. I replied that I would be paying with a credit card, which they responded, so I knew they had received the message. After I got there, they asked if I would pay in cash, so I had to explain that I would be paying with a credit card. The lobby was small and had a smoke odor. The accommodations themselves were sufficient, and the beds were actually quite comfortable. This did not necessarily imply that we had a good night's sleep since we could hear the loud music from a nearby nightclub as if we were in the club. We asked to leave our baggage at the hotel as we were leaving, which the receptionist said was totally alright. The woman in reception was quite accommodating and organized this for us, even though the baggage was only on a walkway with a small sash over it that says "don't enter," so we didn't feel relieved about leaving our luggage there. He then demanded to see the messages she had from me, telling her that she could leave her bag there and he took her phone as she held it out without even asking. This hotel has a good location, and it is a good way to get around from this hotel. You can take a light rail, metro, or walk. The Queen Victoria Building is directly across from this hotel. Around this hotel, there are lots of shopping malls. The Sydney Opera House, the Rock, and the Royal Botanical Garden are both accessible on foot, by light rail, or by metro. There are many cafes in the area.

The room was spotless and in excellent shape. The only thing that made it not a five was the card surcharge, luckily I had cash, and the fact that you paid for a city room but you get a view of the brick wall next door. I believe these things should be promoted on the website as you can get a comparable place with a better view nearby.

This hotel is well situated near the town hall station. I was pleasantly surprised by how convenient it is. Across from the job building. The staff is very nice and very helpful. Booked a compact queen as alone. The room is very well equipped with everything you need for an overnight stay. Very clean and comfortable. Will stay again.
