Friendly staff and very helpful, carried our bags up the stairs when the lift wasn’t big enough for us and them! Bed extremely comfortable (firm) but pillows a bit hard. Spotless rooms and quirky decor. If you love peace and quiet though bring your earplugs as hotel has music and is open until 3am

Friendly staff in reception and bar areas. Room comfy homely feel. Only suggestion a brighter light in the bathroom with little shelf to put toiletries on and better drainage of the overflow water from shower onto bathroom floor. I found it very easy to get to everywhere i needed to. Either by walking distace or by bus. The food in the restaurant was fresh and delish large portions even on the sides. Great price for a central location. Stayed during the week so no noise while i was there, but possibly different on the weekend. I would recommend.

My room was upgraded to a suite (sweet!) as I only booked a single but was advised that it could be a little bit noisy being a Friday night - slept right through it once I got back and enjoyed the comfy bigger bed and bigger room. Great base for a night out! Thanks again for the upgrade, thoroughly enjoyed it!

We found this place through Hotels.com as we were looking for a simple room for a good price and got exactly what we were hoping for. The hotel has a really cool old Cuban theme to it, fantastic food and drinks! Our room was small and simple, but perfect for us, since we were out and about all day and just needed a good place to rest. At night it tends to get a little loud in the downstairs area, as well as on the first floor, as it is a popular bar and they have DJs playing music. We were afraid that this was going to be a problem, but at check-in we told the receptionist that we would prefer a quiet room, so he put us in one that was on the backside on the second floor. We couldn't hear any noise at all and were able to sleep very well :-)

We would defo stay again.. Staff and facilities were more than we expected. Not the cheapest of places but Sydney isn't anyway. Happy we choose this hotel.
