my partner and I will use hotel hacienda from time to time as it’s the most convenient location to be for our visits to Sydney - it’s clean, the beds are soft and comfy, it’s convenient as hell with a short walk to Redfern station and it’s incredibly budget friendly. The prices on weekends are a bit of a rort but you literally will not find a place cheaper in Sydney over a weekend that is this close to everything. Staff are lovely and usually let us check in early if it’s a weekday or a Friday - we’ll be back many many many more times as the years rolls by.

The staff were nice, the rooms are simple, however, they could use some up keep and repair. The room I was in had a broken window latch. The TV light would constantly blink and wake us, so had to be unplugged. The wall also looked dirty under the tv, and could use a clean. Was saddened to find that there as no longer any dining at this hotel.

Absolute perfect stay. Very good value and great location, only a five minute walk from Redfern station which gets you into the city centre in 12 minutes. Also connected with bus routes, short walk to Broadway which has tonnes of shops and restaurants. Hotel itself the staff were all so nice and accommodating. Our room was even ready at 9:30am which was a nice surprise. For the price you really couldn’t go wrong, the rooms are small but the aircon works well and the beds are comfortable after a long day out and about so that’s what suited us. It’s not a hotel you would be lounging in all day but served its purpose for us perfectly. Loved it!

Awesome themed hotel in a convenient location near parks, railway stations, and tram. Railway line nearby is a bit noisy but not a problem. Rooms are simple but tidy. We loved it.

Stayed there multiple times mainly due to location and price. They have new owners, rebranded and refreshed. My stay was pleasant, bed was comfortable and linen clean, toiletries supplied were nice. It's basic but perfect just one night on budget.
