The Avonmore is a beautiful boutique hotel. The location is very convenient to shopping, restaurants and is located directly across from a park. Regarding the staff, they were awesome, the Managers, George, Mathew and Kevin, were all very knowledgeable, had great dining recommendations. And thanks to Mathew, who after not hearing me exiting my room and meeting the Uber, came and woke me up at 5:30am so I would be at the airport on time. And the Domestic staff did a fantastic job of keeping the rooms and common areas spotless.

It's an old building, but generally good condition. Being from New England, USA, I did find it weird how it was constructed. But, you have to remember, it's Australia. Different climate in Sydney. While it's winter there, it was fairly comfortable for someone like me. It was a cool spring in my view. But the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We need them here in the states.

What a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous building overlooking the park. We were very warmly welcomed and given lots of tips on what to do. Our room was very nicely decorated with a mix of modern and period features. Modern bathroom. Close to all the shops and restaurants and a short drive to the coogee to bondi cliff walk

The location across from the park and a 5 minute walk to the shops. The most outstanding thing for me was the service, front desk to housekeeping, all were warm, welcoming and nothing was a bother irrespective of the request. Well done 👏
