Hospitable hosts, we enjoyed walks in the bush, swimming in the lake and air temperature cooler than Jakarta.

A great choice after some dusty days in the jungle was Villa Durian. We stayed for four nights with two kids aged 6 and 8, and really enjoyed the space of the villa and the peace and quiet of Lake Toba. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was very delicious. Warm even baked bread for us which our kids liked. The owner was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and organized two interesting tours for us one to see the back museum, a traditional dance and hot springs, and a boat tour across the lake to see a tiny and fairly I know hidden stalactite cave which was a fun little adventure. We could easily have stayed an extra few days there. Chris and friendly organized our transportation back to mean as well. Excellent and friendly hosts, lovey manner with our kids thank you for a wonderful time.

I would likely return, but Id be more prepared by getting a flashlight for the road and knowing beforehand not to eat at the hotel restaurant. Several dogs and cats are circling the outdoor dining area. Its a pleasant experience to speak to them while standing on the balcony with the view of the lake Toba and having the view of the lake at night was good. I recently traveled to savoir with this villa. The villas lobbydining space is down a steep slope behind the villa, which is the Villa Durian Tub Timber. There are some good points to this vacation. First, we were able to check in and out quickly and affordably than we anticipated when we needed to arrange for our return to the he was able to locate a very talented drivertour guide, who took me for 8 hours and showed me everything I required for less than 75 usd, in addition to Chris usual driver in parapet was unavailable. When I was in the lobby area, he was also kind and helped me to make sure I was taken care of and had everything I required. However, the property is in an excellent location. I can find an entire cabin at a very reasonable cost for about 75 euros for a regular hotel room elsewhere. I have a wonderful time with other tourists while I explore the area, which includes the breathtaking sunset of the lake. The dogs in particular got into trouble during my visit,

Villa durian ini sangat cocok untuk bersantai bersama keluarga, ataupun teman. Setiap sudut di vila ini sangat bersih, mulai dari kamar tidur, dapur bahkan toiletnya. Setiap bed sangat empuk, sangat nyaman. Lokasinya berada di tuktuk samosir, jika ingin ke sini jika perjalanan lewat siantar kami menyeberang menggunakan feri. Kalau dari berastagi tidak perlu menyeberang. Yang sangat saya suka dari vilage ini adalah ketika saya dan temanteman bersantai di balkon atas pemandangan yang kami dapatkan sangat indah, melihat durian jatuh dari pohon dan tentunya danau yang sangat indah. Aaku Bayangkan nikmatnya. Manajemennya juga begitu ramah, intinya semuanya oke. Wajib datang lah.

This charming villa can accommodate 6 people, complete with a kitchen, living room, and terrace. Just up the hill beside the lake. What's nice about it is that it's in a very quiet area of Tutu village and not a commercialized multiroom hotel. The ownermanager Chris is a very friendly and friendly Vietnamese man who brings us around, buys a tuck alcohol local drink, and invites us to breakfast at his home. It's a really pleasant experience outside of the crowded area.

LUCY • Couple Trip

Was unable to sleep due to villa being so close to main road, was not helped by having window panels missing. No pool, no English tv stations, no WiFi. Location so remote needed to hire motor bike every day
