Brian and sarah are the best hosts ever! I havent met anyone more genuine and genuine, and branian is never seen without a grin and an eye on his face. If you want cheap and great hospitality, this is the place to go. They also lead jungle treks, we did the 3 day trek with joko and was the absolute man! The food was excellent the entire time, providing many meals during our trek. Would love to return and stay with them.

The hotel is fantastic, and brittany is incredibly kind and welcoming! We were given a ride to the atm and plenty of fruit. It was fantastic that we also took the tour for three days and two nights. The food was excellent and delicious, with utmost friendliness from our guide. I heartily endorse it!.

The guest house is beautiful but basic. Someone who expects a nice 5 star hotel should go elsewhere. The lack of luxury is compensated for by the two nicest hosts, Sarah and Bryan, who are two of the most kind people we have met in ages. Every question and demand was answered, dealt with, and if there was no direct way, an improvised solution was presented. It was absolutely amazing. Our tour guide Rosit told interesting stories, knew everything about the jungle, had an impressive eye for wildlife and orang utans, etc. He was helpful in every way. Food prepared by this guesthouse and served in the forest was more than delicious and sufficient. Fresh curries, fruit and variations of indonesian cuisine. However, its i booked mr. And it was he said, oh, dont expect luxury, you will get an amazing real experience you wont forget for remembrance for life. Our trip to southeast asia was one of the best experiences we had. Brian and Sarah, who were wonderful hosts, have made our stay wonderful! They assisted us with our inquiries and helped plan our vacation. They also set up our transportation and assisted in making reservations for another guesthouse because theirs was full when we returned from our trek! It was fantastic that we went on the threeday trek with them! Rosit, our guide, did everything in his power to make us feel at home, he was extremely knowledgeable and provided extensive information about the jungle. You should definitely visit Brianands guest house if you are visiting bukit lawang and take the trek together!.

This place is the best place ever! Sara and brittany are the greatest. If you want to go trekking professionally and with certification, just go with robert because he is knowledgeable about all aspects of the jungle. We appreciate everything and will return.

Our most recent stay at the Thomas leaf monkey guesthouse was absolutely unforgettable! The hosts, brenan and sarah, were incredibly kind and helpful, making me feel right at home. Their delicious and fresh food was a culinary delight. The 3D 2N jungle trek led by the fantastic team of poonidi, mawan, sukur, alif, and darwis was an adventure of remembrance. I also enjoyed the cooking class, while the country trip with tuktu was equally captivating. This place is charming because of the entire staffs kindness and assistance, as well as the simple yet comfortable accommodations with private bathrooms. Thomas Leaf monk guest house is highly recommended if you want genuinely enriching experience.

I didnt stay here, but i did a 2 day 1 night jungle trek with brian and it was great! Hes the sweetest. He knows everything about the jungle and animals. I had ecstatic time! Thank you!.

Brian and Sarah are wonderful hosts. They make you feel like a vip and nothing is too much trouble for them. Their kindness, accommodations, service, cuisine, and communication skills are outstanding. And just reserve ido if you want to go on scout the jungle with them because they are so kind and helpful. I had incredibly fun trekking and staying in the forest after doing the same thing. Many thanks, sir, bran and stanley!.

Excellent location! The staff, including brayan and his wife, Sarah, are amazing, kind, and extremely helpful. They speak excellent english. You can arrange for your pickup and assist you with the jungle trek and anything else you require. Breakfast is delicious, you can also order lunch, dinner, snacks, or drinks that are tasty and reasonably priced. Both the common area and the rooms have wifi. It is unquestionably worth a visit.

I would definitely return! The best hosts youll ever meet, brian and sarah are always going above and beyond for you. The lodging is basic, but it all adds to the experience in bukit lawang! We had some of the greatest fried rice and rendang curry weve ever had, and both are excellent cooks. Even though he couldnt be our guide, bryan organized the finest alternatives in pipit, uma, or our cook, mado, on our twonight, threeday trek we had the best time. Thank you everyone for a wonderful stay!.

When we contacted the host, brenny, via WhatsApp, he was really kind and organized everything. We had an amazing 3 day jungle trek, saw many beautiful nature and animals, our guide, ponjidi, and his team were genuinely friendly and mindful of the environment, cleaning up trash on the go and helping us at difficult times with our bags. I wholeheartedly recommend!.

The best place in sumatra. Brian and Sarah are very caring, attentive, helpful and fun. They are so helpful with booking any kind of trek and Brian is a great guide. Joko and ale were our guide and they were the best. Cant recommend enough. The food at the accommodation is delicious and very cheap. Rooms are charming, clean and have good wifi. This is the place to stay in bukit lawang at any price, but especially at low prices.

I didnt spend the night at Bryans, but i did go on a threeday sightseeing excursion with his staff. It was an incredible adventure. Three tourists made up our group, including me and two guides. We had countless experiences and saw dozens of animals from the start. The guides took excellent care of the wild animals, treated them respectfully, and had wonderful surprises for us. I would have liked to have stayed longer in the jungle. Thank you all for the wonderful time. Those days will always be remembered by me. Thanks to everyone, especially our funny chef. Brian and Sarah are amazing! They were there to pick me up from the bus station when i arrived late at night. I then went on a twoday trek with ten other travelers. We spent the entire day hiking into the jungle, sleeping by the river one night, and then returning to the guesthouse for another night in savoring refueling with our rubber boat back to its ripe forest edge. Brian is an excellent cook, all the food was delicious even during the trek. It was well worth it! Thank you very much!.

This place is truly exceptional. The host and location are truly remarkable! Bryan and his wife have created a jungle sanctuary where you feel as though you can take in all that nature has to offer, with the added conveniences of utilizing idi and fan facilities. Both the room and the bathroom were impeccably clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with brian, who entertained us with some guitar singalongs one evening, which was delightful. We also thoroughly loved our jungle trek booked through the guesthouse, especially the jungle tour that we had planned for our stay. Instead of just merely allowing guests to sleep, the hostel served as an entire wonderful experience!.
