I really enjoyed this place and strongly suggest it. We stayed here as a base for our cirque terre. Upon arrival, we were a little disappointed that the train for la speziacinque terre only had four daily departures, so plan ahead if you want to take the train. However, because we had a rental car, we could easily drive the short distance, so this wasn't a big deal. However, be careful of expensive parking near cirque terre. In addition, the room was large and modern, with all the necessities. Despite the fact that their English was slightly broken, the hosts were friendly and accommodating. One of the best stays we've had on our tour of Tuscany 5 terre, and I have to agree with the other reviewers that the atmosphere was fantastic.4.6/519 Jul 2022

Our room was clean and comfortable. The shower was just separated by a curtain so the whole bathroom floor could get wet. We were able to do it, but I would not have wanted to deal with it more than one night. Breakfast was provided and was nicely presented. A bit limited but enough to eat before going out. Wed love to return to this incredible location. We arrived at this location with a medical problem. Roberto went above and beyond to assist us, his kindness and generosity, in addition to the beautiful room and excellent service, truly earns us a 55 rating. Up a flight of stairs, the room is situated above the breakfastcheckin room. The room offers air conditioning and heat, though we didn't require either. Bedside tables and lamps are useful because we like to read before going to sleep. The door looks like it might be on a bank safe because it's thick, and the beds a large twoperson bed and a single bed are warm as are the bedding and towels. We enjoy reading before going to bed. The bathroom is pleasant with new fixtures and the most interesting faucet. The views from the room, whether from the hillside villages or the interesting looking old-style building that is a part of the establishment, are beautiful. There are numerous enjoyable outdoor spots to sit and enjoy the afternoon or evening. Breakfast was very good, and the serving ladies are very helpful in planning your adventures. They will offer you whatever type of buns or sweat croissants you want, as well as meat, cheese, jams, juices, and good coffee. We were even able to make a sandwich with our leftover cheese meat and buns, which were delicious.4.8/526 Agt 2023

After a lengthy journey that made far too many stops at castles, hotels, breakfast, and London, we finally arrived at Santo Stefano Magma late at night. We were greeted warmly by Roberto, who was waiting for us. When we got there, we felt at home. At night, the castle del giulio's illumination conveys a sense of mystery and romance. Each room has a balcony that faces the garden, which has an antique fountain and fruit trees. The rooms are modest, cozy, and extremely comfortable, and are tastefully decorated in an elegant vintage way. The atmosphere was further enhanced by candles and books. We were immediately greeted by Roberto's dog, a Shepard who made us feel like family at breakfast. We heartily recommend the Castle del Giulio to anyone visiting Ligurien and looking to make a homey feeling at home.4.6/57 Apr 2023

We came with our 6-year-old daughter because we thought we would depart for the weekend! There were a lot of very clean towels, a spotless room, and a little antiquated decor. Even though I thought the beds were firm, the room had air conditioning, which was essential, but our daughter appeared to be comfortable and said hers was wonderful. Beautiful gardens surround the pool, which is located on the other side of the hotel. A stunning village is located only 200 meters away, which is close by. Breakfast was part of our deal, and it was simple fare! Here, the staff is kind, and there appear to be older guests, so we welcome Italians.4.6/523 Jul 2022

I hope you have a great time and prosper. You will be able to find the hotel within a 710-minute stroll along the lovely, charming resort town's main area. The hotel is centrally situated in the historic part of Apollo, in the city's historic district. The road and promenade are only a short stroll away. There is a bus stop 50 meters away. Everything you would require to know about restaurants, food, and what is in your room is available for easy access. It was recently renovated the accommodation. Although small, the accommodations are extremely comfortable and equipped with everything you require. The mattress, bedside tables, a desk, and chairs are just a few. There is no loud street noise in the apartment because the building is in the courtyard. Beds, bedside tables, desk, and chairs are all there, to a certain standard. Illustrations are on the walls. Window shades are draped with blackout curtains. Blinds are also present. There are tables in the common area where breakfast is served in the morning and afternoon. There is an underground casino where local pensioners play cards. Keep in mind that the hotel is on the first level and does not have an elevator. Also, in the open area, wifi operates in a sense of confidence. Overall, the hotel should be noted that it is extremely decent, reasonably situated, a cheerful, and eager4.8/511 Mar 2022

We chose to stay at Mignon Post because it was one of the more affordable hotels in Apollo. It was the off season and the prices were quite high. The room wasn't big but it was sufficient and the location was great, you can walk to any part of Apollo within 10 minutes.4.6/52 Feb 2022

The location is good, I walked less than 10 minutes to the Apollo train station, very easy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious enough for two people and the bathroom was spacious, but the shower might not be so big. I had a nice experience while staying at this Laveal hotel. The rooms were clean, with good bed and in this case a nostalgic design as you would find at an Italian 3-star hotel. With regard to this last quality, I found their position at different levels of the castles base to be very interesting and more typical of Liechtenstein than those at similar priced hotels. Nevertheless, the rooms werent all in the same few corridors but rather very apart from one another, almost like private apartments with small stairways decorated with flowers in old stone pots. The only but greatest issue, especially in a summer vacation hotspot like Santa Margherita, was that ac wasnt available whilst I was sleeping, making my night very uncomfortable. The staff was very friendly, and I particularly appreciated that on my final day, the receptionist recommended me check out the rooftop solarium. This cool feature is great for anyone looking to get some sun, but away from the other hotel pool mobs and still enjoying great views of the see, hills, and town. The stairs to this private and inexpensive paradise were great to climb because they were so narrow and old that I really felt off on an adventure! Breakfast was good. The hotel staffs were rather indifferent, mostly at the front desk and in the breakfast area, with the disadvantages being heavily balanced out. At la veal, we spent three nights. Lovely and charming establishment with enchanting common areas and spacious, spotless aircon rooms. It should be cozy for most people, though possibly more so for others, ten minutes by foot from the lake and a bit farther from the railway station. A major plus for motorcyclists is that there is onsite parking, which is a little tight but quite adequate. The sea views that were quite breathtaking from our accommodation were superb. I suggest paying extra for the gorgeous sea views that were in our room. Santa Maria is an excellent alternative to be had. The boat ride to Portofino was a pleasant distraction, but Porfofino itself offers little. A decent dining establishment with good dining choices, Santa Margherita, which is also a convenient train ride to the Cirque Terre, which is not overcrowded in the summer but is still well worth a visit.4.8/511 Sep 2022

I will definitely stay here again. I had already reserved this hotel in a hurry and intended to reserve another, so I was initially concerned that I had made a mistake. Totally unnecessarily! La veal is pleasant, authentic, relocating, and familyowned. Yes, there are no added details, but it was a fantastic, affordable option for Santa Margherita There is no pool, but you have the sea. The rooms are traditional, but that fits Santa Margherita. It is not on the shore, but the quick walk down past other exquisite villas is beautiful, and the views from the hill are stunning. Breakfast in the salon in the morning feels like youve traveled back in time in a good way. Also, don't miss the solarium or the tower from the top. And lastly, the cleaning staff is very attentive. The driveway leading up to the hotel is steep, but there is plenty of parking. The hotel was very stylish and the room was comfortable. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was delicious. It is a 5-minute walk from the city center. We walked from here to Portofino, which is an hour and a half long journey, with beautiful scenery along the way. There are also boats there. The only disappointment was that the safe did not work and although we warned reception, it wasn't fixed.4.4/515 Jun 2023

The terrace, private beach, and view from the breakfast area are very unique and wonderful. It is about ten minutes walk to cellar town center very small but very beautiful and charming! And there are several restaurants across the street. I gave them zero stars because the wifi did not work properly and they didn't have great customer service. We stayed at the apartment Il Polio for a few days. It was nice and spacious, with a lovely terrace with views of the sea. The location is fantastic, the beach is close by and you do not need a car every day to go to the sea.
