If I were in this part of the world, I would definitely remain again. My three days here were incredibly wonderful. It was quiet and private. Because it was the only available cabin, we stayed in the earth cabin. Initially, I would have chosen another because they are newer, but after staying here, I believe we selected the best one for our needs. The wildlife is simply spectacular. Several robins, fairy wrens, finches, and lorrikeets were right outside our door each morning. It was a delight to sit on the deck and observe these birds. One night, it was very chilly, and the hosts offered us some firewood, which was appreciated. The B&D is a flat bungalow, not the one in the picture with the hood.

The accommodations are private and surrounded by trees. The kitchen was well equipped for simple meals. The furnishings were all very comfortable and modern. We had a great time and plan to return. We stayed in the wooden cabin for three nights, and while the view from every window was beautiful, there was a lot of natural light that was incredible, and the cabin was bright, contemporary, and quite comfortable. The wood stove was wonderful, and there is also a reverse cycle heater. We had to purchase additional firewood in town since we frequently used the fire. The bathroom was extremely modern, with a wonderful free-standing bathtub. The location was excellent because the location is only a short drive into town, but since the lodging is private and surrounded by trees, you can also see the water when it is clear.

The location is very strategic, and close to the shopping mall. And then the cleanliness was good, too. After that, the host was very friendly and welcoming, especially when she planned to stay an extra night.

The floating forest is a small oasis of quiet and peace right across the street from Denmark. My partner and I stayed in October for two nights in lovely Kari. The many little thoughtful gestures and things in the cabin, like a welcome note on the kitchen table, the quirky and beautiful artwork, and the quality and the newness of everything. The towel is thick white, the bed is very comfortable and the linen cushions are bonny neil. The bathroom is also beautiful and brand new. We used the fireplace on the first night due to the kind wood provided. We also had several local visitors, including several rooms with babies on board and lots of colorful birds. Thanks, Sharon and Damian. You are such a great host!.

We stayed at the Kari Chalet for five nights. It was smaller than in the pictures, but it was big enough for the two of us. The kitchen is fully equipped to make and cook a meal and the freestanding spa bath was so lovely at the end of a day of exploring and had a shower as well. In the cooler evenings, the log fire was helpful and there was wood available. The walks in the surrounding trees are beautiful because they are full of local birdlife and spring flowers were just emerging. A small cabin surrounded our chalet was the main location for parrots, fairy wrens, and honey eaters to gather to feed. An amazing location to recharge your batteries and explore Denmark, Tadpole, Albans, and its environs.
