EVA Air Corporations, or Evergreen Airways, abbreviated as "EVA," is a Taiwanese international airline based at Taoyuan International Airport near Taipei, Taiwan. The airline operates passenger services and special cargo services to more than 40 international destinations in Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America. EVA Air received an award from Skytrax as a 5-star airline. The airline is also the second-largest airline in Taiwan with its headquarters in Luzhu, Taoyuan City, Taiwan.

Chair and Founder of the Evergreen Group, Dr. Chang Yung-Fa founded EVA Airways in 1989, carrying a transportation heritage that is respected with a tradition of service quality for generations. EVA Air was founded as a private airline and as an affiliate of a shipping company conglomerate, Evergreen Group.

EVA Air made its maiden flight on 1 July 1991 with a Boeing 767-300ER, and the first route taken by the airline was the Taipei route to Bangkok, Seoul, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore. This airline developed very quickly in the mid-1990s. Shortly after his first international flight, domestic flights within the Taiwan area were opened.
